Welcome to Kiss my Smoke!

I’d like to welcome everyone to my new space here on the internet. Some of you may know me from my other site, Cravings of a Lunatic. Others may have found their way here by searching for grill sites. Regardless of how you found me, I welcome each and every one of you to Kiss my Smoke.

This has been a labour of love by both myself, and my incredible designer friend Kita Roberts of Silhouette Graphics. I’ve wanted to have a grill site for quite some time and for one reason or another life got in the way of starting it up. I knew I did not want to wait another year to do this so Kita worked her ass off to get this done for me. I cannot thank her enough for giving me a snazzy new home to share my passion for grilling with people. I am so fired up to start sharing my tried and true grill recipes with you.

You can read more about how I got my start grilling over 20 years ago on my about page. I’ll be posting three days a week here at Kiss my Smoke, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. During peak grilling season you may find me posting more frequently. You can always count on a minimum of three days a week regardless of the weather. On Tuesdays I will be sharing “How To Tuesday” which will be tips and tricks to help you get your grill on. I’ll show you simple techniques to ensure a moist, tender meal every time you hit the grill. I’ll be starting to shoot video later this month, and when I’m ready to unleash those videos on the world I’ll be starting a YouTube Channel. Videos are a great way to learn simple techniques as well as share cooking demonstrations. There will be varied recipes, everything from marinades and rubs, to how to break down a tenderloin. I’ll show you how to pick out a new grill, how to care for an existing grill and what tools and gadgets you can’t live without for grill season. There will be recipes, and my usual stories about my chaotic life. I welcome you into my world with open arms.
