The past year was a rough one health-wise. I needed to make some tough choices regarding what I could handle and what I could not. After a lot of contemplating I knew I needed to reduce my workload, and cut back on stress. Something had to give.
Having a blog is time consuming, having two blogs is REALLY time consuming. So given the situation I knew I had to choose one blog to continue with, and back off the other one until I felt better. My health was my first priority. As it should be.
Given my other blog, Cravings of a Lunatic, is my main source of income I had to choose to keep that one running. That meant Kiss My Smoke had to be put on the back burner until I could return to full time work hours. I knew I would be off for some time.
It was not an easy choice but a necessary one. I love grilling, and I love this blog. It’s my pet project, my heart and soul goes into the recipes here. This blog is who I am, at the core. I’m a gal who likes to play with fire. Endlessly, and with wild abandon.
Things You Should Know:
I could not be happier to be feeling well enough to get back to work here on Kiss My Smoke. I’m thrilled that I get to share more amazing grilling recipes with you. I’ve been grilling this whole year, making notes, and taking photos. I just haven’t had the energy to write, edit, and promote those recipes. So I’ve been stockpiling them.
There’s over 100 recipes made and ready to edit and share here on the blog. I’ll be posting at least 2 to 3 per week, depending on time. I’ll be balancing my time between Cravings of a Lunatic and Kiss My Smoke. I’ll likely share 3 to 4 per week on Cravings, and 2 to 3 per week here on Kiss. All grill recipes will be shared here on Kiss.
Cravings of a Lunatic is more dessert recipes, easy dinners, and everything in between. Mostly recipes cooked indoors, with the rare exception. There are some grill recipes on Cravings of a Lunatic. Actually there’s some really kick ass grill recipes on Cravings of a Lunatic. So be sure to check those out when you have time. You’ll love them.
